Get help with trading
Patents, utility models, trademarks and designs are exclusive rights which can be bought, sold or licensed. So it is important that you focus on making the most of the opportunity to gain access to the protected brands, technology or designs of others, or generate new income by allowing your rights to become accessible to others.
Perhaps you will see the most optimal yield on research and development investments by selling your rights or by setting up licensing agreements allowing others to use them. Maybe you have spent much time and money on developing a new concept, establishing a brand or come up with a good idea and now have new invention - but if markets have changed, it may be an idea to sell your rights or license them and make money that way.
Also you could cut some R&D costs by buying or licensing inventions, brands or designs from others. The main thing is that you both know, and have a strategy for, the different ways of trading in rights.
